My first screening in a West End Cinema, the Curzon Soho
On the back of it is always good to mark the small wins (see my love your Creativity Blog post ) 2 weeks ago I got to go the Curzon Soho to see the first screening of The Jewel Of The Balkans, a thriller directed by Richard Lipman. It is the first edit done incredibly quickly as we only finished shooting in October.
It is too early to talk about the film but I can say it is about the terrible trade and human anguish of human trafficking and there were some good performances in it. I played the Head of a NGO, basically a charity to Stop Human Trafficking. In the always weirdly small world of acting I actually did a hard hitting commercial for Stop The Traffik directed by Jonathan Dennis for Feel Films, the commercial is below. I play the Polish mother.
