Royal Television Society National awards at the BFI

rts awards, bfi, marysia trembecka, paul clayton, sunday dinner with the morgans, award winning short

I had a lovely time at the RTS Awards as our film SUNDAY DINNER WITH THE MORGANSĀ  (I say our as I played the mother). it was at the BFI Southbank last Friday. We were nominated for 3 national awards, having won at the regionals. Sunday Dinner has been in over 20 film festivals worldwide and won 6 awards including 2 in the States.

As always, part of the joy is meeting up with the cast and crew. Filmmaking is always an intense little bubble that you live in for the length of the shoot, you feel you really get to know everyone so it’s lovely to catch up. Three of the five cast turned up, myself, Paul Clayton and Lukas whom played the son as well as about 50% of the crew including the director Alex Forbes and Jack Pollington the fantastic producer.
