Queen Of The F*cking World sequel at EdFringe show

QUEEN OF THE F*CKING WORLD: THE SECOND COMING. UNLEASH YOUR INNER QUEEN!

Queen returns as fierce as her Fender. Marysia Trembecka’s kick-ass sequel takes sexual politics by the balls and with her wild bass guitar, provokes us to stand up for our rights and the rights of others; to rise as a Queen, never following as a Princess. Embracing everything from Mary Magdalene via #MeToo to RuPaul.

Rocking the audience through her brand new fiercer, darker show, Queen tells a tale of loving, loss and addictions including love. QOTFW is ultimately a redemptive tale of taking one’s own power back to change the world.

Queen Of The F*cking World: The Second Coming looks at the fight for sexual freedom and equality delving into the good, the bad and the ugly of great passion encompassing such artists as Oscar Wilde, Vita Sackville-West and Tracey Emin.

A victorious one-woman theatre-cum-cabaret performance that knows no boundaries. Trembecka draws on the past to reshape the future with humour, music and song with Ginsberg and a smattering of Burns’ bawdry for good measure.

Marysia’s Edinburgh Fringe 2017 show was a prescient spotlight at the challenges for both women and the LGBT community, being a sell-out ‘Must See Show’ from both The List and Grumpy Gay Critic. QOTFW is developed with Arts Council funding which has allowed her to interview and learn from a cross-section of those at the sharp end of 21st century gender politics including sex workers as well as historical research.

A former city bond trader turned performer, Trembecka knows no fear.

“The message is simple, Whatever your sexual inclination never be a princess, unleash your inner queen. Queens don’t need a prince to rescue them, they lead the way and take others with them. They strengthen that sense of self responsibility both within and in others. We must not allow our lights to be dimmed, no matter who we love.”

This new show comes from a consummate entertainer whose Singing Psychic shows were sell-out hits at both 2016 and 2017 Edinburgh Fringe, toured Europe, earned five-star reviews and a Best Show Funny Women nomination. QOTFW takes Trembecka’s talent to another level. This sequel should not be missed with audiences reacting with comments such as

“Your show is wonderful. I’m so glad my daughter got to hear what you had to say”
“It is great to see someone tackling serious issues at the Fringe’

Marysia Trembecka is also returning as the award nominated Singing Psychic in her new show ‘The Singing Psychic: Medium School Dropout.
