50 Ways To Kill Your Lover – number #1 rated show
I filmed an episode of Thumbs Up Productions new show ’50 Ways To Kill Your Lover’ last year and whilst looking on their website news I saw this..
50 Ways to Kill Your Lover number #1 rated show on Investigation Discovery US and Crime and Investigation UK. Now showing Fridays 9pm on Crime & Investigation.
How great 😉 Jeremy Freeston the director and all the crew worked incredibly hard and fast on the shoot I was on. Hanna Berringan who cast it and second AD’d it also has since recommended me to a director whose play I then did for a month last October and even dragged herself out to see me play Irina Arkadina in a small production of Chekhov’s The Seagull last September. I hear actors sometimes complain about casting directors not coming out to see new actors and Hanna is so far from that it is incredible, she is so interested in the arts community and has show herself to be willing to drag herself out to see me in fringe theatre since 😉 She also directed an all black version of Pinters ‘The Lovers’ in the Caribbean!
I often forget when I have had just a day or two on set how then the poor editor, director or executive producer have to watch all the takes of scenes I am in. I had this demonstrated today when I spoke to the executive producer of 50 Ways, TJ Sherbrooke who recognised my voice purely from the episode, i was pretty impressed I must say !

I am waiting to hear when the episode will be screened in the UK, the series started Fri April 9th so it will be soon. Here is a picture of me and my fellow actor Duncan Malcolm, this was after we finished shooting so I was no longer wearing the costume etc. The other actress in it Olivia Busby I did not had scenes with but we did meet and I gather she ended up covered in sheep manure! I was playing the lover not the wife for once 😉
