Cannes Film Festival highlights

I was at Cannes for the whole festival this year and  whilst some of it is a blur of ‘what happens in Cannes, stays in Cannes’ 😉 there are so many highlights I just thought it was best to show visually 😉

I got to do the premiere of Ken Loach’s I, Daniel Blake, I was at Cannes for the premiere of his Jimmy’s Hall two years ago and as always his filmmaking is subtle, engrossing and always makes me tearful!

The Carnaby Films boat party became a fun haunt for me.  I have a privileged life but you get me on a boat, dancing under the stars with the champagne flowing .. and I am like an excited child and quite frankly refuse to get off 😉 I went to both their Kids In Love party (pic 1) and the Intrepid in Prague party

I saw far too many other films, lovely fellow film industry people and went to too many parties to mention .. but SHUDDER the green screen film I was in had its premiere screening there as well as two other projects I am involved with being punted around. The Singing Psychic (my comedy character) also did some readings there ;))
